Notice of Election | September 4, 2018

Close of nomination | September 18, 2018 (4pm)
Qualified nominees will be notified by the Registrar following the close of nominations and prior to the Campaign period. If at the close of the nomination period there is only one candidate per seat available, the nominated candidate will be declared elected.

Campaign period | September 19 – 26

Election day | October 1, 2018 (9 am to 4 pm)
Polling stations will be set up in the Registration office at the Terrace Campus, in the library at the Prince Rupert campus, and the registration desks at all other campuses.

The first Education Council meeting following the election will be October 19, 2018.

Eligibility to Participate:

Only those enrolled as a student (in good standing) currently attending the College are eligible to participate.  If you are uncertain of your enrolment status, please check with your Registration Office.  Candidates must be nominated by five other recognized members of the student body enrolled as students attending NWCC.  Each nominee must declare that s/he has every reason to believe that s/he will be able to fulfill the term of office.  Student members receive $100 for every meeting attended.
