The Admission Process

Northwest Community College offers upgrading, career training, trades and university credit programming, and applications are accepted from individuals any level of education. Applicants are required to meet the course or program prerequisites, please check the program web pages for detailed information.   Information may also be obtained by consulting with an Educational Advisor.

Students can enrol in upgrading courses to complete prerequisites for university and career training programs. In most programs, students are admitted on a "first qualified, first admitted" basis. This process ensures equal opportunity for qualified students to access programs with available spaces.  If the next intake is full, students will be added to a waitlist for a future offering.  Once accepted, students will be allowed to register for courses in their chosen program.
