CPST 020 Fundamental Computer Studies

Computers are increasingly becoming a pervasive part of daily life in personal, work and educational situations. Computer skills are introduced at the fundamental level to helps students gain the confidence to perform basic computer operations. This course consists of four modules: Keyboarding, Basic Knowledge of Computers, Word Processing, and Electronic Communication. The learner will develop correct typing techniques, gain a basic knowledge of computers, create word processing documents, explore the Internet, and communicate through email.
