Northwest Community College (NWCC), Smithers campus, invites applications for a part-time College Professor to teach a Psychology course (subject to minimum enrolment). This appointment will commence September 1, 2017 and end December 22, 2017. Salary will be in accordance with the CUPE Instructor Scale.
Duties: Teaching, course preparation, evaluation of student work, along with other related duties to teach the following:
- PSYC 101: Introduction to Psychology – 1 section
A minimum of both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Psychology or a related discipline along with teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Internal applicants please include copies of recent evaluation results.

- Ability to motivate and mentor learners of all ages
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
