Financial Aid - External Awards

Envision Financial offers 11, $2,000 education awards for outstanding community involvement for students who demonstrate outstanding school and community involvement. In recognition of Envision Financial's commitment to supporting our local food banks, we are pleased to provide 2-$2,500 education awards to secondary and post-secondary students who volunteer with their local food bank. All Program details can be found on the community section of Envisions website. 

A bursary covering room, board and tuition to enable students who have completed at least Grade 11 to enrol in five-week immersion course in French. The Destination Clic Program is for Grade 8 & 9 Francophone students who may apply to the three-week Destination Clic Program (as defined under Section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms).

Fittous is dedicated to provide readers with in-depth information about fitness, nutrition and healthy lifestyle. At Fittous we value education and understand that it can be a significant expense and how hard it can be for students to afford that expense. To make it a little easier, we are pleased to announce the launch of $500 Fittous Scholarship. This scholarship is dedicated to full-time students who are currently enrolled in universities, colleges or high schools and who are committed to living a healthy lifestyle. Deadline for submission July 31st, 2017, Announcement of Results August 15th, Scholarship will be awarded by August 20th, 2017

Fix Your Skin is a huge repository of skincare advice and DIY tips that can give you great looking skin without breaking your bank! Skincare is a vital part of your self-care routine, sadly which gets ignored a lot.  Considering that stress and pollution are an inevitable part and parcel of everyone’s life, the onus falls on the people to take better care of your skin.  A $3000 scholarship Fix Your Skin is awarding to 3 winners at $1000.00 USD each. Open to students who are currently pursuing courses at colleges/universities. Open to anyone who has a creative slant of mind and has something innovative to contribute to us through their ability to write compelling content. A write-up of 500 – 2000 words about – Totally Natural Skincare In Today’s Busy Times. Deadline Novemeber 25th. 

GS Media believes in corporate social responsibility and the need to give back to youth pursuing a post-secondary education. As a result, we are pleased to offer an annual scholarship of $3,000 to a student enrolled in a post-secondary institution that is pursuing a career in the following fields of study: Business Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts or Social sciences. Preference will be given to those students who have not started their first semester or are in their first or second year. To apply please fill out the form as well as 500-750 words telling us about an obstacle you have encountered in the past and how you overcame it. Our application deadline is December 31st, 2016.

The Bulkley Valley Research Centre - Irving Fox Memorial Scholarship for Natural Resources Research and Management is awarded to a student from northwestern BC or a student enrolled in or entering studies in natural resources research and/or management in northwestern BC. The Isabel Loucks Foster Public Health Bursary fund has been set up to provide bursary funding for public health post-graduate studies. The funds are managed by the Vancouver Foundation and the Bursary funds will be released to a successful applicant(s) annually on the recommendation of the Health Officers’ Council.  The Health Officers’ Council is comprised of the Medical Health Officers and public health physicians of British Columbia. helps its users succeed in the workforce by offering an annual college scholarship to benefit working parents in Canada who are pursuing post-secondary education.

We've experienced first hand how education can improve lives but we also know that a decent education can cost a lot of money. This is why we decided to offer an annual $500 scholarship to assist students who are studying digital media or marketing related courses

The Kokopax mission has always been to educate and inform responsible parenting choices. Since the creation of Kokopax, we have prided ourselves as a news source for parents written by parents. In the spirit of continued education we have created the Kokopax Annual Scholarship to help prospective parents. All parents started off as students. Great education starts early and with our Annual Scholarship we hope to inspire parents to share their ideas of what they think responsible parenting is all about.
