BC's college and university libraries provide a chat assistance service for students. You'll find the AskAway chat widget on our website and in many of our databases. AskAway is often open for your convenience when the library is closed.
Library cards are free and are issued upon request. Please contact us to request your card.
Unlimited borrowing from the College library
There is no limit on the number of items you may borrow from the College library. You may request loans online in the library's catalogue. Look for the "Request loan" link in your search results. Please note that you must know your PIN in order to request loans. Don't know your PIN? Please ask us.
The library pays for the delivery and return of anything you borrow.
Does another library own what you need? We can get it for you. Request interlibrary loans here, by phone, or e-mail. You may follow the "Where can I get this?" link in the library's article databases to request copies of journal, magazine or newspaper articles.
Access to licensed resources
The library licenses hundreds of electronic resources: databases, e-books, streaming videos. Access is restricted to the College's students and employees. Off-campus students must login with their student number and last name. If you are denied access, please report the problem to the library.
