11:00 am update:
As promised, our 11 am update. The sun is peeking out, plows are hard at work and the snow has ceased falling. The Smithers and Hazelton campuses are open effective 11 a.m. Staff and students are reminded to check road conditions before travelling. www.drivebc.ca
6:30 am update:
Based on road condition reports from Hazelton and Smithers, the decision has been made for those campuses to remain closed until 11 a.m. We will re-evaluate at that point as to the rest of the day. An update will be sent as soon as the situation becomes more clear.
The Terrace campus will be open today. The main arteries in Terrace have been cleared the parking lots are also clear in Terrace.
5:30 am announcement:
NWCC campuses across the region to open today.
With snowfall having ceased, and no more snow projected for today, NWCC campuses in Hazelton, Smithers and Terrace will re-open today after closing for evening classes yesterday.
