Business Administration Bridging Certificate

Overview 

PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW - NWCC IS NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME 

Academic Bridging is designed for individuals who have not completed their Grade 12 Dogwood and/or require academic upgrading in order to continue their studies.  The program is intended to bridge the gap between a student’s prior education and the requirements of first year university level courses.

Students who successfully complete the Bridge Program and meet minimum grade requirements will receive a guaranteed seat in their identified program the following year, with credits towards their Adult Dogwood and College Degree Program. Students with a minimum “B” (3.00 GPA) average will be guaranteed a seat in the Business Administration Certificate Program.

Admission Requirements 

Existing CCP Entrance Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age OR have already earned Grade 12 standing OR be 17 years of age and out of public school for at least one year OR have a written recommendation from a local high school principal AND meet with an NWCC Educational Advisor OR CCP Coordinator to ensure they have chosen the correct courses or programs. 
  • In addition students would be able to enter with ONLY the following pre-requisites if they sign up for the whole certificate program AND they have completed: 
  • ENGL 030 or ENGL 032 or ENGL 033 or Placement at the Advanced Level; AND 
  • SCIE 030 or SCIE 033 or Science 10 and Math 0301/0302 or MATH 032 or MATH 033 or Foundations of Math and Pre-Calculus 10
