Northwest Community College has partnered with Cengage Learning to provide a variety of interactive online courses, each with its own instructor.
Through the online learning centre ed2go, more than 1,500 top schools across the United States, Canada, and Australia offer practical and highly effective online courses on a variety of topics such as Creating Web Pages, Accounting Fundamentals, Grant Writing, Medical Terminology, Real Estate Investing, and much more.
The instructor-facilitated online courses are informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas and supplementary links.

Getting Started with Ed2Go & Gatlin:
- Visit ed2go.com/nwcc or ed2go/nwcc Career Training.
- Click in the search bar and type a course you are interested in taking.
- Follow the instructions to enrol and pay for your course. During the online orientation, you will learn important information about your course. You will also be provided an opportunity to choose the name and password you will use to access your course.
- When your course starts, return to ed2go.com/nwcc and click the 'Classroom' link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the name and password you selected during orientation.
A new section of every course in the NWCC ed2go catalogue begins the third Wednesday of every month. Each course runs for six weeks, with a two-week grace period.
All courses require Internet access, e-mail, a web browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari. Some courses may have additional requirements such as software. Visit ed2go.com/nwcc for more information.
